Simon was quite glad that Niks was taking the time to orient herself. He imagined that it must be confusing for anybody but him to be here. It would be doubly so for the woman at his side. She belonged here, but had never been here. A part of her would be singing with joy, calling out to be a part of it all. The rest of her would be reserved and unsure. It was only natural.
The fairy finally opened his eyes and looked down at Niks. She was beautiful at any time, doubly so in this environment.
"Yes." Simon agreed. "There should be something of a town near here, or we can wander off into the forests. Which would you prefer. Remember, just because we don't go to town, it doesn't mean that we won't run into others."
