Niks didn't take long. She wouldn't keep him waiting for the world he'd long to see; surely he had to long for this place. She felt almost at home here, and she only partly belonged.
The librarian picked a multi-layered dress, one of greens and blues. It wasn't what she normally wore in the Dreamlands, but it felt almost as light and soft. It fit just right. and it only obscured the body beneath, not completely covered it. On her feet were supple leather ankle boots; they matched her more airy outfit somehow. As if she were wood nymph mindful of her precious toes. She was also a wood nymph who wore dainty little underthings; she was still human and British.
"Am I respectable enough?" Her fingers were busy working her hair into a thick braid that would be tossed over her shoulder once she was done. "Can you show me to your...or somewhat our people without being too embarrassed?"
