Laurel leaned into Roy as he put his arms around her. She let out a contented little sigh after he broke the kiss. She felt an overwhelming sense of relief that they'd woken up together. She didn't have to worry that she'd lost him upon being sent to this world. Having him at her side made it a lot easier to face whatever might be going on outside.
She tugged at his shirt a little as she kissed him back.
"I still say it's not that bad," she teased.
She tilted her head and smiled at him.
"I suspected as much," she replied. "I love you too."
Her hand slid down to find his with a squeeze. "Yeah, let's get some food and then find out what we're dealing with."
