This pleased Betsy to hear. She wasn't one to pine for people or deal with unrequited feelings. Maybe partly because she'd never really been denied anything, maybe partly because she didn't know how to deal with things like that.
She twisted her skirt a little extra when Sam twirled her away, making a dramatic show of it, showing off a little, showing a little more leg. Maybe she didn't have to entice him further, but she was also sure that he wouldn't hate the view.
