"It's what I live for," Sam sounded distracted as he focused on their surroundings a little better. He didn't like it. This was different. He looked all around, not seeing a real break in the natural beauty that shouldn't be. He shifted a little to turn and twist. This wasn't real; it couldn't be.
"Hey, don--" His brow lifted, head tilted, and a slight smile claimed his lips. Yeah, that wasn't the reaction he'd expect from someone who'd just eaten a strawberry.
"You do know they might stick us somewhere that the food could be deadly, right?" He sighed, claiming the tart and sniffing at it. It smelled like food only more so. His mouth almost watered at it, which bothered him. He wasn't the salivating animal some might think, or didn't think. He just didn't go for that; he liked calm, cool, collected, and ready to high tail it out of a bad situation at any moment.
"Least you aren't dead yet." He set the tart back in the basket and sniffed at the air. There were so many things, all of them wanting some attention, some investigation. "This place is crazy."
