Glad that Mary had chosen breakfast over running out into the world, Johnny stood up, heading for the kitchen. Her comment caused him to look down at the pants and contemplate them.
"I think my butt likes these pants, too. They're very soft." He wouldn't mention the other part of him that might enjoy not only the fabric but the freeness the pants gave him.
"Any guesses as to where we are this time?" He looked out the window for a moment as he passed it. The world out there was bright. Not just in a sunny way, but in that every color seemed to be more enthusiastic about being a color. "Holy shit."
Shaking his head, Johnny continued into the kitchen, where he found some pots and pans made out of copper. It wasn't really all that odd, copper cookware was pretty much everywhere. But usually it was a steel coated with copper. This seemed to be copper through and through. The irregularities on it suggested hand made, as well. There was no cast iron anywhere. No plastic, either. Ceramic and metal dinnerware filled the cabinet. The metals looked to be precious.
"I feel so fancy." He said, holding up a golden cup that he was pretty sure might be actual gold.
