Simon smirked at Sam's attempts to dissuade the elves from using him as a pony. He'd already planted the idea, though, so he wouldn't be at all surprised if they followed through. Perhaps not with a pony, but with something else. It was his small way of assuring that he wasn't the only one suffering in this place.
He was feeling particularly grumpy due to the insistence of the creatures that he take part in their joyous celebrations.
"I haven't had a chance to look around yet." Simon shrugged. "But I can tell there are a good many of us here. Certainly the ones I'm most concerned with are. I could attempt to seek out a party for you if you have somebody particular in mind."
