"This is your hell?" Sam looked around. "Well, I heard that some folks think Hell is cold, frozen. Course, that'd put a bit of a damper on the people hoping it never freezes over." He didn't wince at his own bad joke. He just stood where he was, hands in pockets, attention given to the man with magic. Definitely not human.
"They seem to like you." His head tilted to the elves who were hovering not far off. They wanted their taller cousin, or relative, or whatever he was to join in on the festivities. He belonged with them, didn't he? Sam wasn't going to get involved. Well, no more than he already had. Fairies, definitely fairies, were dangerous.
"Maybe they want to make you their god?" The fairy was taller than these others. It made sense in a weird and twisted way. This fairy may be a very angry, vengeful, and spiteful god. Sam wouldn't wish it on the happy giggling lot.
