"Steamed buns? What are those like?" Aurora asked curiously. Mulan's land was certainly different than her own. Every so often, they'd take the time to compare notes and she always loved hearing about Mulan's home as well as some of the other places she'd been. How strange that she'd always envied the other woman for her worldliness, and now Aurora herself was bouncing around from realm to realm and seeing things she could never have dreamed of.
"It looks like Christmas," Aurora said, enjoying the proximity as they walked. She felt a little warmer just being in contact with Mulan.
"It's celebrating the birth of someone who was considered a savior. There are lights and those songs you're hearing, and presents on the day of. It's a lovely tradition."
She wasn't sure if she was properly conveying the reason for the holiday or not, but she did her best.
"There are certain foods that are common this time of year. I think we should try to find them." She grinned at the thought of introducing Mulan to something new as opposed to the other way around.
