"Food. If we were home, I'd hunt for us. Or fish. Though hunting would be better. I would love a stew right now. Or maybe some of Mama's steamed buns." There were times Mulan did miss her family. She leaned ever so slightly into Aurora, who had become her family no matter what the feelings were between them, love or otherwise.
"Do you know the holiday they seem to be celebrating? Or is this some sort of festival? We don't have it, and I've never celebrated anything like it that I remember." She wasn't clueless, but holidays and festivals were in short supply where she was from and in the worlds she'd traveled. There was always something bigger and scarier to deal with. Down time was something of a luxury after all.
"They sing." She motioned to the small people. Their ears reminded her of something, perhaps something she saw in a book or heard about at sometime.
