Aurora smiled at Mulan's first question. The two women hadn't liked each other at first-Aurora had actually thought that Mulan must be in love with Philip. And yet, they'd spent so much time looking after each other that eventually it had become second nature. Or rather, Mulan had spent so much time looking after her. She didn't know why the warrior woman was still by her side, but it made her feel better about all of the things that were happening since they'd been taken.
"I'm okay. Your cheeks are pink. We should find somewhere to warm up."
The cheeks rosy from cold was not a bad look on Mulan, but Aurora didn't want either of them to linger outside for too long. Maybe her instinct was to take care of Mulan just as the other woman would take care of her. She just wasn't as skilled at certain methods of watching out for a person, but that didn't stop her from trying.
