The elf was left go physically as soon as Mulan heard Aurora's voice, and he was allowed to actually leave when Mulan saw the princess. Relief was a very good word for how she felt. The princess looked at home in the snow, and the way her cheeks glowed from the cold made Mulan smile as well as consider getting the princess inside to warm up.
"Aurora." She took a few quick steps in the other woman's direction but paused just within arm's reach. "I was worried when I woke up and you weren't there. I didn't even see a place for your things as we had in the last place. Seems we do no live together." The phrase didn't bring with it a blush; no, the warrior seemed a little sad at the idea of not having the princess close by. There were those who would say the warrior had made a promise to protect Aurora and would do so until they found the prince even beyond if necessary. Those people would be correct, but the reasons Mulan wanted to be close to Aurora were selfish and kept as quiet as possible.
"You're okay?" She took a step forward to close the gap. They'd hug eventually; they always seemed to hug. Just Mulan wanted to make sure everything was okay before wrapping Aurora in a good squeeze.
