Christmas in Storybrooke hadn't been quite this picturesque, but it had been close. Aurora wasn't sure what to make of this strange new world, but it was pretty. She was worried about Mulan, but that didn't stop her from marveling at the lights and the funny little elves that were running around. They reminded her a little bit of Snow's dwarves, though they were a lot more cheerful.
She heard the voice carried on the wind before she saw the warrior. Her name was the first thing that hit her.
She turned to look for Mulan and when she saw her squaring off with an elf, she took off at a run.
"I'm here!" she called, slowing as she approached the pair. "Mulan, it's okay. I'm here."
A rush of warmth filled her as she thought of the concern that Mulan was showing for her. That she was the first person Mulan looked for... well, Aurora wasn't sure what it meant, and she wasn't sure what it meant that Mulan was the first thought on her mind upon waking up in this new place as well.
