Laurel watched in a state of shock as Emma adapted to this new weirdness and greeted the man claiming to be Santa Claus. Her lips pursed together as she registered the fact that he'd known their names.
"How do you know who we are?"
Nick-she wasn't going to think of him as Santa-gave her a warm smile.
"My child, I know everyone who visits my village. And I think now is the time to ask what you two would like for Christmas. I have the power to grant you each one request."
Laurel glanced over at Emma. There were a few things that ran through her mind. Most notably, the chance to see her father again. He might be angry with her, but she could only imagine how worried he'd been when she disappeared. To be able to see him and reassure him that she was all right-that was the thing that she wanted more than anything. Of course, being able to go home and bring Roy with her was pretty high up on that list too.
