Thread: Cyprien and OPEN
WHO: Cyprien and Anyone! (Open to multiple people too!)
WHEN: Sunday, November 22
WHERE: Outside. Quidditch Pitch? Possibly just the grounds.
WHAT: Cy likes being outside and so that's where he is!
RATING: Low (Unless some meanies or naughty vixens jump in lol)

Despite the air getting steadily cooler, Cyprien simply could not stay in his room a second longer. He had done a lot of homework on Friday, so now he was basically free and clear to enjoy the last day of the weekend. It was not exactly the typical time to hang outside the castle, but he never really liked being trapped inside. He wasn't sure what his plans were when he decided to go out and just expend some energy, but considering it was Cy then one could naturally assume it would involve some type of sports. Otherwise he might sneak off to the forest in search of the animals he enjoyed spending time with. One way or another, he was going to cure this boredom. So he grabbed his broom, his warmest dress robes, and headed out of the Hufflepuff dorms. He briefly considered stopping by his twin's room to find out what Ozzy was up to, but he was sure that his brother hadn't finished his assignments yet. He decided to wait a bit before he bugged his other half in hopes that his twin wouldn't fall behind in his coursework.

Once outside, Cy took a deep breath of the fresh air. It carried a slight bite of the winter that was fast approaching, but was more refreshing than anything else. There had been a lot of drama in Hufflepuff recently, and he definitely needed a break from it all. It was a shame none of his friends were around to start that pick up game of football, but Cy figured they could do that when it got a bit warmer. His trip down to the pitch was filled with pleasant silence, and he enjoyed the walk despite not seeing but a few other students moving about. To Cy, it just meant there was a greater chance of being able to go for a fly if not a lot of people were outside.

Septima had been having what she had come to think of as one of those weeks. With her sister's wedding now mere weeks away, and the parental (or, to put it slightly more accurately, maternal) pressure into proving herself as a proper young lady was increasing by the day. She didn't have much time left to behave as she wished - not that she was particularly rebellious, more that her family kept her on a tight rein - and so, she decided that nothing would suit her mood more than a good fly around the pitch, taking her frustrations out on the goalposts.

Putting on her Quidditch robes and grabbing her broom from under her bed, she had made it down onto the pitch in almost record time, not really watching where she was going or who was ahead...

Cyprien was mounted on his broom, about to take off, when he noticed someone coming towards the pitch. Being on the broom instead of the ground, he just barely managed to maneuver out of the way in order to avoid a collision. It was a bit foggy, so there was a thin cloud of grey coating everything it touched. Stepping off the wooden contraption, Cy peered through the mist until it cleared a little bit. He recognized Septima carrying her own broom, and gave a short wave in an attempt to catch her attention.

"Hey Septima," he spoke, hoping his eyes were serving him right. It might be foggy, but it wasn't that foggy. His eyes still needed to work.

The brunette didn't notice Cyprien at first. Scanning across the misty pitch, frowning slightly at the poor conditions, she swung her leg over her broom before hearing his voice. She sat back on the broom as it hovered at ground level, and gave him a small wave of acknowledgement.

"Hello" she saidd softly, before coughing as the heavy air made her choke.

It was understandable that they didn't see each other. All this fog was certainly distracting. Shielding his eyes as if from the sun, Cy hoped he was right in identifying who was approaching. It looked like Septima, so he just had to wait for her to either respond in the affirmative or correct him. Either way, having company was always welcome; even when he was out during weather that most people stayed indoors during.

"It's a wee bit foggy out isn't it? I reckon I ought to have stayed inside." Cyprien didn't like the thought of being trapped inside all day, no matter the season, so he wasn't too uncomfortable with their surroundings. "I think it's gotten worse. It didn't look this bad when I decided to come out," he mused, glancing through the grey as she coughed. "Are you alright?"

Hovering a couple of feet above the ground, Septima headed in the Hufflepuff's direction. "I'm fine" she said politely. "I just don't like it when it's this muggy outside" she added, looking around. "I've not been out here long, and it's come on quite quickly."

Pulling her robes around herself a little tighter, she looked over towards the equipment shed. "I think I'm still going to have a fly, though. Wouldn't want to waste a trip out."
