Harry listened carefully, understanding a bit of where James was coming from. Harry hadn't wanted to make Auror simply because he was Harry Potter, but because he deserved it, but there was a better time and place to explain that understanding than here and now.
Shaking his head he said, "I'm not doing a favor, I should have listened to the whole story before I passed a sentence. And I didn't say I was lifting it, I said we'd discuss it later. Which we will, when it's not past curfew and we're not both so steamed up."
Looking down the hallway with a huff Harry said almost to himself, "Get back Gryffindor, and I'll have the portraits watching so I'll know if you take any detours." He gave James a point look and waited.
