How've you been? With all the news coming out of the Spanish Ministry of Magic ~~since their Minister got caught in that affair~~, things have been busy at the print office, but classes start back soon so that's a good feeling. Are you looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts? ~~Merlin, I'm rambling, aren't I?~~

~~So listen,~~ Anyway, I had a great time at the Harpies game ~~and I just got an invitation to Brig's end of the summer party and I wasn't sure if you were planning to go but I was wondering if you'd like to go with me?~~. I'd like to do something like that again. Maybe starting with Brig's party this week? Were you planning on going?

I'd like to take you, and maybe we could get dinner before? Or coffee?

Hey Al!

Been good. Rescued a dove stuck in one of the Leaky's ceiling beams yesterday and found the cutest looking pit bull the week before. He's missing one eye and the fur on the right back leg is missing, but I'm sure he'll be fine with a little TLC. I'm calling him Rufus. Bullet hates him, but oh well.

At least there was something in the news. Probably wouldn't have been such a good summer without it. Yeah, I'm looking forward to classes; really looking forward to Quidditch though. I haven't played in ages.

What do you mean you'd 'like to take me' to Brig's party? You mean, like a date ~~A real date? Not a just friends, but possible date~~?

I like food. Not so much coffee.
