Taking deep breathes in through her nose, Brigid slowly began to memorize the way he smelled when they were together. After he apologized, she said in a whisper, "Don't be. I liked it." Since she was the more experienced of the two of them, she felt like she shouldn't let things get too far; she worried that he'd feel pressured However, when her senses get overwhelmed, Brigid sometime can't control her actions.
With her heart slowing to a steady beat, she looked up at him and smiled. The way his hand smoothed down her bad was making her want to just curl up right next to him and cuddle for hours.
"So I have this rule for when it comes to men," Brigid said. "It's part of the reason, I haven't dated too many people."
Realizing she was about begin babbling, she rolled her eyes at herself, determined to get through it. "No shaggy until we've been together for four months. It used to be six and for certain individuals in my past I said six months just because I was no the fence on how I felt about them and well, he left as soon as I said six months..."
Mentally smacking herself because she was trying not to babble and ended up babbling anyways, she sighed. "Anyways, I don't want to either of us to feel rushed or pushed, but I'm finding myself willing to throw all those rules out the door because everything thing feels so...brilliant and overwhelming and..." Her voice trailed off. "Would you mind if we just danced for a little bit longer?"
