With his spoon he moved the ice cream around, mixing it with the chocolate. He wasn't hungry anymore, but he had thankfully ate at least half of it by now. "It's.. awkward." he said, swallowing. "It's not the same that it was before Hogwarts and it will never be." Riley had come to realize that things had changed, perhaps forever between them. "He moved out right after school, without even telling me. He told Dad that I didn't mention moving out, but he never asked me." He shrugged, coming to the sad realization that Ryan would always find a way to put the blame on Riley.
"I confronted him and um, it didn't go well. But I moved in to help him out, because he would have gotten a flatmate anyway. Next paycheck I'll go get a kitchen table and chairs because it's honestly ridiculous to be using his working desk." He sighed and pushed his sunday in front of him a little.
