Her mother would be more than financially able to fund her living at school, but it would come with a cost. With her mother constantly holding the guilt over her head, Cam would rather foot the bill herself to live on her own if it meant doing what she wanted and when she wanted. It was worth it.
"Don't worry about it. If you don't want to, you don't want to." She knew fully well that if they started living together now, there would be repercussions. Not only from her family, but... her productivity would be non-existent anymore. It was a damn good thing that they hadn't been in the same house, or both of their grades would have suffered hideously, constantly focused on each other instead of on schoolwork.
