Smiling at his enthusiasm, she said, "If you do what you love than you'll never work a day in your life." She could understand what he meant about how much work was involved on the simplest things. Creating a weekly menu for the pub really should be a breeze, but Brigid knew from watching her mother it was far more involved than most people thought.
"I have to say I'm a little surprised, Al," she said once she heard him say he was first going to a Quidditch game and secondly with someone other than his family. "I would have thought that James or your Mum would have taught you all about the game by now."
She ordered an iced mocha latte when the waitress came by. "I do plan on having some fun this summer. I just want to have a few things settled before going all out."
