Shrugging as they turned the corner, Brigid replied, "Looking for a flat, deciding on a flatmate, organizing at home for what I'd need to move, help Mum out a little." Even though her life was busy she still made an effort to see or owl Riley regularly.
She listened to Al talk about his internship and she could tell he was sincerely enjoying himself. "It sounds like you've made the right decision going into journalism after your last year," she replied. "Will you get to write anything or is it more of the...I suppose production end of things?"
Nodding to his suggestion of sitting outside, she selected a table that was in the sun, but offered a little bit of shade. "Please, tell me you aren't working all summer though. You should have a little bit of fun."
