Riley finally looked at his father the look of utter disbelief on his face. Even after all these years, it seemed like his father was a bit quick to buy Ryan's versions of the facts rather than ask. "Oh right, Ryan's going up the walls.." he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Did he tell you that he never actually told me he was moving out? Or, even after it was done?" Riley asked, his cheeks burning with a blush that had nothing to do with the way he felt around Brigid. He was so angry at Ryan for making their father believe it was his fault..
"He's lonely, that's his bloody problem at this point." He had never used any kind of swear words in front of his parents before and he actually started to worry himself. "Has he told you how he preferred spending time with his Housemates rather than come play with me in the music room at school? Or how so freaking hard it was to answer my notes in Potions or how apparently impossible it is for him to even write a memo to tell me he was moving out. So I'm sorry if I'm not spending my days helping him paint his flat, might have been nice to be told first.." He wasn't used to speak so angrily about his brother, but he was tired of everything falling onto him.
