(Ada and Charlie) Just a Trim Who: Ada and Charlie What: Just a trim Where: C. F. Brinkley's Barber Shop When: Friday afternoon Warnings: None
Ada buttoned on her jacket and double checked that her hat was pinned firmly to her head. She'd just finished a day's worth of rehearsing on a new stage and had a few hours before she was due to be back in the dressing room for tonights performance. She wanted nothing more than to sit and rest her legs, maybe have a pie and a glass of ale for dinner, but she really needed a haircut; it was getting just a little too long in the back. And for a new stage and a new audience, that just would not do.
She was unfamiliar with this part of town, away from the theatre district of the West End, but it was too far to head back this afternoon and visit her regular barber. So she determined to just set out to see what she could fins.
It didn't take her long. Not a block and a half from the back stage door, she found a clean and elegant shopfront with teh words " C. F. Brinkey's Barber Shop" across the top. This will do nicely, she thought and pushed open the door.
