Who: Regulus and Draco Where: Grocery store When: Feb. 8 What: Cousin run-in! Status/Rating: WIP, Low
Regulus had just been running to the store to pick a few things. Really, it was remarkable how much he had changed in the years that he had been here. He could appreciate that a lot of them were for the better. He hadn't been able to cook a thing when he had arrived in Lockewood and now he was able to feed himself. More or less.
He was turning down the aisle, idly looking for something, when he caught sight of Draco. He couldn't help but stare, because, simply put, he was surprised. He hadn't known that his cousin was back in Lockewood. It had been some time since he had last seen Draco. He hadn't spend an abundance of time with the other man, but he had, of course, made something of an impression. It was difficult to ignore how similar their stories were, but it was also encouraging to know that Draco did get out from the underneath the thumb of the Dark Lord successfully.
"Draco," Regulus found himself saying -- even though he knew it had to be foolish. Draco had no way of knowing him.
