Mr. Lupin wasn't really what Alphard had been expecting either, but then he had no memories by which to judge the boy's appearance. Admittedly, the scars on the boy's face were a bit disconcerting but Alphard didn't let on to his uncertainty or speculations. He maintained an air of personal decorum and civility, and mostly pretended not to notice the oddities of a boy claiming to be in his early 20s. He'd ask Sirius about it later, perhaps.. Probably not.
Drawing his wand placidly, Alphard half turned to face the entrance of the establishment and with a subtle flick of his wand, conjured a temporary sign that attached itself to the door, indicating that the employees were on a break that would end in a half hour from now. Partially satisfied Alphard turned back to Remus and regarded him again with a guarded expression.
"You're friends with my nephew, Sirius Black," he said. It wasn't a question, but more a statement. "Judging by.. certain engagements I'd wager you know him very well."
