It was a little overwhelming, having so much of his family show up so suddenly in Lockewood. He still didn't exactly know how to react around his father. It was strange that the first time he had seen him in months he had been a zombie. He was still trying very hard not to think about those few days; he was also quietly in awe of the fact that his father hadn't condemned him for leaving the Death Eaters.
His mother was young. Ridiculously young and it was odd to be around her when she didn't even know who he was. Before, his parents had always at least had him. He always seemed to be a baby, but they knew they had sons. Now, he was just a part of some future that he couldn't even tell if she wanted.
They both seemed rather focused on Sirius though, and he didn't know how he should feel about it. It was always hard when they were entirely focused on him. But he knew that Sirius wouldn't appreciate the attention and he knew that nothing would end well as a result of it. And he was tired of being seen only as the second son.
Quidditch, as usual, was one of the only escapes he had. He didn't care that it was starting to get cold or that there were no official games happening. He was fine with flying on his own, chasing after one of his own Snitches.
