"Much better." James liked his first name. It may have belonged to someone else before him, but he liked it. So he preferred to be called by it. He didn't figure it was difficult.
"Well, I'm not dying now," he murmured. His eyes lowered a bit at the next statement. "You could always say it," he said, perhaps a bit petulantly. He wondered idly if he ought to say anything about Lily, but then again, that might make things all pokey and angry again, and he didn't like that idea.
"So I guess that means I'm stuck with you until I'm old and dying, huh? Guess there are worse people to be stuck with for all of...that amount of time. Though, I suppose it was a willingly stuck sort of situation if you're not just being a prat about this."
