Rodolphus remained where he was standing when she came over and put a hand on his shoulder. He glanced down at her, looking almost amused. He didn't know if he should have been surprised or not that she already had suspected that the Dark Lord was in the village. Still, he couldn't help but have his doubts as to the identity of this man who had stepped forward and claimed to be the Dark Lord. Rodolphus wouldn't be played the fool.
"And you truly believe him to be our Lord?" Rodolphus asked; it was more than just that. Rodolphus had seen the indifference and the weakness of the last Tom Riddle. He wouldn't serve a man like that. He hadn't yet become his Lord.
"They hate the Dark Lord though," Rodolphus said impassively. He moved to take Bella's hand and pressed a kiss to the inside of her palm. There was a slight smile on his face. "It will be quiet the challenge to teach them otherwise."
