His hands kept cramping up, which made it incredibly difficult to actually cook anything. He really wished that he hadn't come into work at all, but he knew that it was better to reserve such days for after the full. While it was unlikely that anything bad was actually going to happen, especially since he had Padfoot, he was still all too aware of the first full he had been here, when things hadn't gone so well. Greyback hadn't been sighted in quite some time though and Remus was quietly starting to hope that maybe - just maybe - he had disappeared altogether.
He had decided to make Teddy lunch for their meeting, although he wished he would have asked what Teddy liked. He ended up making them two large club sandwiches, figuring that was a relatively neutral bet, simple to make, and yet fairly filling. He needed something simple, because his mind was on a thousand different things.
He didn't know how Teddy was likely to react to the news that his father was involved with another man. He tried to imagine his own father breaking such news to him, but the notion was so ridiculous that he simply couldn't. He didn't want Teddy to think that this had any bearing on how he felt about Teddy's mother in the future. He didn't even know how things would up then. Still, he knew that such news had hurt Dora. There was a good chance that it could hurt Teddy too. He knew that Teddy had a right to be angry - even if Sirius didn't think so. He had to respect whatever his son's decision was. He just hated the idea of losing him so quickly. He liked being a part of Teddy's life. He liked getting to know his son - and Victoire. He knew that he probably should have even told Teddy sooner, but he dreaded a negative reaction on Teddy's behalf. Simply put, he had put things off too long though. Sirius hadn't necessarily been wrong about that.
