Gellert had taken a week off work after being released from prison, still being too ill to function very well even at a desk job. He had gone in for thirty minutes each day simply to avoid getting thrown back in jail for shirking his duties, but that was it. He had not seen much of Molly Weasley since returning to work for regular shifts, and he was not sure if she was avoiding him or if their schedules simply did not overlap as often by chance, but he recognised her immediately -- even from behind.
"Good evening, Molly," Gellert said, stepping up beside her. "I'm so glad that you were able to come." And he was. Molly was well-respected in the village, and her presence could seem like a gesture of forgiveness for Gellert's crimes, even if that was not her intent. "Ariana made the pie," he said, clarification in case there really was something off about it. "Do you like it?"
