Severus saw the young girl shout his name and bound towards him, and instinctively and unconsciously, he raised his bottle of mead from his side to in front of his stomach, almost as if it would protect him. This was the one Albus had warned him about; there was no doubt. Though he was not totally taken off guard, he was still not used to being hugged by children, and so his face held a stony look of bewildered surprise, though he later had enough thought to force a smile. He may have even lowered his bottle of mead.
