He was taking sex advice from Jamie Potter. It was disgusting. He was going to be sick. He was disgusted with himself. He couldn't believe he'd put himself in the position to need sex advice - but getting it from a Potter, that just took the cake.

So Zach stalked across the street and knocked on Anthony's door with his fist. If the prat didn't answer, he was going to start kicking and might eventually break the fucking thing down. He wasn't much with the muscle, but he did have a wand.

"ANTHONY. OPEN UP. NOW!"

There wasn't any need for Zach to break the door down. He was in the kitchen, making himself some coffee when he heard Zach shouting. Rolling his eyes, Anthony set his cup down and walked to the front door, yanking it open and glaring.

"What?" He was annoyed. Beyond annoyed. And he really didn't want to see Zach at that moment. Stupid wanker was looking for someone to fuck and Anthony shouldn't have cared, but he did. He cared too much.

"You're a SHIT!" he yelled, right at Anthony. He'd been annoyed, he'd been upset, but now, seeing Anthony, seeing how pissed off Anthony appeared, Zach was livid. "You're a piece of fucking SHIT, you know that?! I can't believe I fell for it, I can't BELIEVE I let you made me BELIEVE you, you fucking prick!" Zach wanted to hit him.

"You've been going on and on for weeks now, months, that you were 'interested' in me." Zach even added airquotes. "You just wanted to see if you could turn a straight bloke gay, was that it?! You wanted to see if I'd actually go and shag some bloke because you told me to? You're a fucking liar, you know that?!"

	Well. Okay. That was.. What? Grabbing Zach's arm, Anthony pulled his friend into his house and slammed the door. Zach allowed himself to be pulled into the house and then leaned back against the door, one second crossing his arms on his chest, the next leaving them at his side. He had no idea what to do with his limbs, he just knew that wherever they were, he wanted them somewhere else.

"No. Nononononono. See,...no. Because I had to hear logic from Potter, so you don't go telling me I'm full of shit, that's not happening. What the hell kind of bloke who 'cares' about another bloke, who's 'interested' in him, wants him to shag someone else!? Hm?! You don't gain anything in making me offer up my arse on a tray to Lockewood at large except if it's to embarrass the fuck out of me or because you had a bet. Maybe it's personal satisfaction, what the fuck do I know, but you can't possibly give a SHIT about me if you're telling me to go FUCK SOMEONE ELSE!"

"I wasn't the one who told you to act like a fucking idiot!" Why was this his fault? Zach is the one who had looked easy and desperate. Anthony hadn't been the one to beg the entire fucking village to fuck him.

"No Potter is going to give logic, first of all." That was a point that needed to be addressed. "And I don't want to care who you shag, but I really didn't need to see you begging every fucking bloke in Lockewood to fuck you, all right? The fuck kind of person do you think I am?" Apparently not a very good one and that pissed Anthony off more than anything.

"I WAS NOT BEGGING!" This he yelled. What the fuck was Anthony's problem, didn't he see he was actually doing this because HE had a problem with Zach's sexuality? Didn't he see he was doing all of this for HIM?

"You KNOW me, Goldstein. You know I'm not just going to go up to some random bloke to ask for a fucking shag. This way, yeah, I get a lot of people asking a lot of questions and yeah, I got a few people offering, but I get to be picky. That's the point. And I don't know where or how the fuck you missed this, but YOU'RE the one who told me to go find someone else first! Because you're afraid! Because I don't follow through. So now I very well fucking and I-" He wasn't going to tell Anthony the problem he was having; that all the blokes who were offering weren't him and that that was the reason he was having such a hard time figuring out who to choose. "You're a SHIT," he settled on saying again.

"WHY?" he asked, after taking a gulp of air. "WHY do you need me to fuck someone else?"

"And you're annoying the FUCK out of me," Anthony shot back at him. Sure, when he'd said it before it sounded like a good idea until Zach had written that stupid fucking journal entry and pissed Anthony off like there was no tomorrow. He didn't want Zach fucking anyone else, but Anthony couldn't admit that. He couldn't admit he actually fucking cared about another person. It was a first and it was not a good first.

He was used to being alone. Very very alone. And Zach.. Zach had managed to make Anthony start to think about not being alone. Which.. which was just wrong in so many ways. It seemed easiest, at the moment, to retreat and save himself from any potential pain.

"Because I don't want to fuck someone who doesn't know what they're doing," he said coldly.

That wasn't supposed to hurt so much. That wasn't supposed to hurt at all, that was... But it did. All Zach could do was stare at him as the words sunk in, deeper and deeper.

He had a date with Alastor Moody. Maybe he could let it distract him, maybe... Maybe it'd be all for nothing. Because someone who cared about someone else didn't give a fuck that they were inexperienced; they took pleasure in being the first one. In being the one they remembered for the rest of their lives. Maybe the hurt showed in Zach's eyes, in his posture. Zach wasn't aware enough to know just how he appeared. For all he knew, maybe he looked as though he were going to vomit on Anthony. He didn't care. All he knew was that Anthony was a liar and that he was hurt. Incredibly hurt.

He shook his head, almost imperceptibly. He couldn't believe this shit. He'd believed the lies, for months. He'd let the lies sway him so much that somewhere along the way, he'd started to care - more than that, he'd actually started to want Anthony. To be truly interested in him.

"That's really too bad." His voice had lost all intonation somewhere during the quiet. Opening the door and stepping through, Zach added, "The only bloke I wanted to shag was you. Goodnight."

The anger that had been coursing through Anthony all vanished and was instantly replaced with regret. Regret mixed with fear and a dash of confusion. It was not a feeling Anthony enjoyed. The look on Zach's face was more than Anthony wanted to see or deal with.

He didn't say anything as Zach walked out the door. Anthony let him walk out and told himself that it didn't matter. He didn't care if someone wasn't going to sleep with him. Nope. Not a big deal at all. Except it was a big deal. It was a very big deal and Anthony hated it.

Fuck. Double fuck. Stepping towards the door, Anthony shut it and locked it without saying a word.
