Part of Bellatrix thought that this was bad idea. After all, this was James Sirius Potter, a man who she should be avoiding by name alone. To have slept with him would surely have some sort of implications, would it not? But, when she thought about it more thoroughly, perhaps those implications were for her benefit. Jamie seemed to trust her, indeed more than he should have. this would certainly not hurt that bizarre blind faith he seemed to have in her. It might even help things in the event that things turned nasty.
After all, with Jamie's 'dark side' coming out, his parents were starting to worry. Things were getting tense. Would it be so hard for there to be a serious rift among the Potter family? Lines could be drawn, and as Bellatrix- along with Gellert- had never been anything more than supportive towards the young man, why would he not choose their side over the ones who accused him and treated him so poorly? There was, however much James denied it, a dark side inside of him, a darker side that Bellatrix found she wanted to drag out, to nurture and grow. The thought alone was enough to make any dark wizard shudder: the son of the boy who lived turned dark. It was the stuff dreams were made of.
Of course, if things didn't end that way, Bellatrix still found this situation to be a win-win. Her primal needs were met by someone who she found to be physically attractive- though perhaps with a bit too much boyish charm- and who could complain about that?
Bellatrix had not dressed up for the evening. Her usual dark hues were on display in a casual midnight blue dress, hair loosely tied up to keep it off of her neck. Godric had politely stepped out for a few hours, and Bellatrix had the place to herself. Well, herself and Mr. James Sirius Potter.
