Andromeda, in truth, had been avoiding going back to her cottage ever since Ted arrived. Not only did she not want to leave him for fear that he wouldn't be there when she got back, but she also didn't want to risk running into her new "cottage mate". Skeeter had a sick sense of humor. She was, of course, grateful beyond belief to have her husband here, even if he was 26 years older than her (in truth, she rather liked how he looked now, though she worried he might think her too young at some point). However, Ted's arrival also brought with him a few others as well - one of them being Rodolphus Lestrange. There was no doubt in her mind that Miss. Skeeter knew of their relation and instead of sticking him in some cottage on the far end of town, she had decided to give him room and board with Andromeda. It was a good thing Ted had come when he did, otherwise what would she do? She refused to room with him and she didn't want to inconvenience her daughter and grandson. Some part of her was aware of the fact that they probably wouldn't mind, but she also didn't want to admit to being afraid of Rodolphus Lestrange .. which she was.
He scared her a bit; His mere presence, the things he stood for, everything about him. He was just wrong. To her, he was one of those people that made the hair on the back of your neck stand up when he approached and she really didn't want to run into him. However, she did need a few things and she figured she ought to get it over with. She had already gone over to get the puppy her and Dora had bought last week. Badger had been all too happy to see her but instead of getting what she needed then and there she bolted. She rather regretted it now as she fumbled with her keys, eventually finding the correct one and quietly unlocking the door. Hopefully he was asleep or just -- not here.
