Who: Myrddin Emrys & Ariana Dumbledore What: Merlin teaches Ariana how to say his real name When: Backdated to Friday Where: School Rating: G
With so few students in the school, it was easy to pick out which one was the girl he'd spoken to over the journals. Myrddin waited till a break in class time to approach her; he'd half-watched her throughout the lessons, only needing to pay vague attention most of the time. She did seem a little on the slow side, as she'd implied: not dumb, but it took her a little longer to get a good grasp on something. She also seemed fearfully shy, and he hoped she remembered their conversation. If not, he might not get a word out of her at all.
During the break, he got up and wandered over in her direction. Waiting till he got her attention, he offered her a warm smile and a slight bow. "You are Ariana, correct?" Despite the translating spell he'd cast that morning, his voice was still accented and formal, setting his speech apart even from the others out of their times in the classroom. "I am Merlin."
