Jamie got home from work and changed into some denims and a light blue shirt. He slipped his shoes back on his feet, picked up his coat and walked out of his flat. He made it to the pub quickly and ordered a pint. He leaned over the bar chatting up the waitress. He hoped there would be people around. He never stayed in on his birthday. In spite of the waitress, it would be good to have friends around.

	Sirius, naturally, was the first to arrive for the party. In his arms, he had a big wrapped box. He could hardly see over the top of it, it was so humongous. "Oi! Where's your birthday loot go, boyo?" he asked, flashing James a grin over the present. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	"Nope, not yet. You have to wait, kitten." Sirius's gift required an audience, and not just an audience of one. It required a room full of people. Sirius mussed James's hair on his way back to the bar. He needed to get himself properly liquored up. "I'll have what he's having," he told the barkeep. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Daphne couldn't believe that she was considering going to a Potter's birthday, but she was bored and a drink at the pub sounded like a good thing. Lockewood could certainly be boring if you didn't make use of the social events. Waving to the barkeep she ordered a buttered rum, knowing full well that she'd probably need fire whiskey before the night was over. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Blaise didn't know the birthday boy, but it was easy to deduce it was a Potter. Which meant there would be Weasleys afoot. More specifically, the Weasley that Pansy was seeing.

Hexing him into a puddle of goo was a thought that had crossed his mind, but Blaise knew better than to think this would be a wise idea in Potter-Weasley territory. He was there to size up the enemy. See what it was Pansy saw in the cad, if the cad in question turned up. This was Blaise's objective.

Surveying the room and seeing a strange lack of red heads, Blaise decided to make his way to the bar. He was surprised to see Daphne there.

"Don't tell me you're here for the birthday party," he said by way of greeting.

	Daphne gave Blaise a delicate shrug. "There isn't a lot to do in this place, so if I happen to be at the pub the same time that Potter is having a party, we'll call it coincidence." She grinned at him. "Pull up a stool, Blaise and I'll buy you a drink." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lorcan hadn't actually considered attending this party, but when Dominique asked if he wanted to come along he felt that he did. He hadn't been in Lockewood for that long, but he already felt like going stir crazy in this small town with nothing to do and no new sights to see.

Without the amount of clothes he had at home to chose from Lorcan was wearing black jeans and a black shirt today, equally black coat over it, not in the mood to even try and find anything resembling his usual choices in the stores around. The sunglasses perched on the bridge of his nose were obnoxiously red in contrast, giving at least a little splash of colour to the somber ensemble.

Knocking on the door Lorcan shifted his weight from one foot to the other, waiting for Dominique to open, so they could leave for the pub together.

Dominique was equally excited for a chance to go out. To be fair though, she hadn't spent much time sitting around since arriving in Lockewood. After all, originally she had gone to visit her brother and now she was spending most of her time with Lorcan which was fun. Even if she was stuck in this town, at least she had a friend to muck about with. And so, at the opportunity for a real outing she invited him along .. and then perched herself on her couch to wait for him to arrive.

While Lorcan had gone with all black, Dominique was wearing a bright yellow dress in contrast with a sky blue over coat. She didn't like wearing dresses but she was just in the mood today and so she had decided to go with it. Getting up when she heard the knock on her door, she tucked James' present under her arm before pulling a bright purple hat over her blond hair and wrapping a matching scarf around her neck, Opening her door with a smile she said, "You got here quick!" before stepping outside and grinning at him.

"I wasn't terribly busy," Lorcan replied with a grin, pulling Dominique in for a brief hug. "Looking good there. I'm almost jealous because for the love of Merlin yellow is not my colour," He added with a chuckle.

"Ready to go? And who's the birthday boy again? I'm starting to lose track of who is whose cousin around here," He admitted with a sheepish smile. It wouldn't do to show up at a party and not know whom to gratulate.

Louis didn't want to be social at the moment, but he figured after acting like an ass like he did after Christmas, he could at least show up to Jamie's birthday party. He was horrible at gift buying, but he had picked up a few Quidditch related items and wrapped them, carrying them under his arm as he wandered into the pub. He put the gift on a table with a few other presents and made his way to the bar, ordering a firewhisky.

Scorpius couldn't say why he walked into the pub. He didn't like James and he didn't want his puppy to like James. Yet there he was, with Lethe in his arms. He and her were nearly inseparable.

The moment he was inside, his gaze darted around the room for either Albus, Lily, or Lucy. Someone he liked to see and talk to. He planned to avoid the birthday boy for as long as he possibly could.

And then his eyes landed on the back of a blond head. Louis. Seeing him catalyzed a reaction that felt like his spine was being turned to ice. He hadn't seen him since.. Scorpius didn't even know. He didn't want to think about it. This is why he hadn't want to come in the first place. He wanted to leave.

Scorpius turned for the doors again.

Louis waited patiently for his drink, drumming his fingers on the bar. Once he got it, he took a big sip from it and turned around just in time to see a head that looked suspiciously like Scorpius's heading for the door. He wasn't sure why, but he suddenly wanted to hit him. He wouldn't, Louis was hardly violent, but seeing him leave made him irritated. Was he avoiding him? It certainly seemed that way. He tossed down the rest of his firewhisky, slammed down the glass and ordered another.

Jamie spied Scorpius out of the corner of his eyes and smiled. He had this feeling that he would show up. He looked over at Louis for a few seconds, wondering what was with that. Seeing the blond go back for the door, he moved quickly.

He approached from the front. "You weren't even going to wish me Happy Birthday," he grinned. The sarcasm was missing from his voice. He looked down at the puppy. "She is growing."

With his hair a wild blend of turquoise and green, Teddy pushed through the pub doors, arms full of goods. There was a gift bag dangling from one wrist, and his hands were completely occupied with a box that held a birthday cake which he really didn't want to trip and drop.

All his focus was on the cake and his feet. He'd made it this far! He couldn't fall and ruin everything now.

Albus was walking carefully behind Teddy. He'd spent enough time with the other boy in his lifetime to know that getting any closer would give him the excuse of tripping and that wasn't a good idea. Even if he wasn't bothered by the thought of his brother's cake being destroyed.

But, he was trying to be on his best behaviour. Mostly for Teddy's sake. "Are you sure you don't want me to carry that? I may be socially awkward, but I don't have two left feet." He grinned at him.

	"I have it, really, I do," Teddy said, determined to make it. The first table he saw, however, he claimed in the name of the cake table. He put the box down, relieving his arms of the burden. After dropping off James' present at his house, Lily walked to the pub to meet her brother and whoever else was going to come out for his party. She didn't want to be late, and yet, she didn't want to be the first to arrive.

Shrugging out of her heavy winter cloak, Lily adjusted the sleeves on her shirt before making her way to the bar. Ordering a butterbeer, Lily waited. A small smile crossed her lips as she watched everyone. Tonight should be interesting, she thought as the glass was set down at her elbow.

Taking a small drink, Lily spotted James standing next to a table with a few presents on it. "Hi!" she said brightly, the smile increasing. "Happy birthday."

Jamie was a little preoccupied with what Sirius had brought him, and she surprised him. He turned and smiled charmingly at his sister. "Hey you," he grinned, giving her a hug. He had already drank a couple and was feeling pretty good. "I'm glad you showed up."

"My party is turning out to be a real party." He looked around the room, noticing it filling up. "How have you been?"

Hermione had decided to get out for a change. She'd been pouting since Ron had left and it had carried over to his return and she was growing rather sick of herself.

She dressed in the warmest dress she had and made her way to the pub. She hadn't been there in awhile, but it wasn't like it had moved. Hermione made sure to have gotten Jamie a little something, though she wasn't sure what he liked. Quidditch didn't seem like it could be too far off. He was Harry's son, afterall. So she had gotten him a book, which she put on a table with the other gifts as she glanced around for someone she knew.

	It was Blaise who spotted Hermione first. The bushy hair was unmistakable. Thinking perhaps she might know who Hugo Weasley was, since she was an insufferable know-it-all, he decided to approach her. "Evening, Granger," he said, a study in calm collection. 	Rose showed up just a little bit late, but at least she'd made it. She didn't think James would be too thrilled if she had ditched his birthday festivities. 	Charlie hadn't really spoken with the kid who was supposed to be his nephew, but he had heard about his party. It was only right that he showed up, right? He spotted a girl with familiar features.
