"You're not a rebound," she protested quickly. "I promise." Her hand was so nice and warm in his. Their feet crunched together in the snow as they walked towards the village. Tonks wanted to talk about eveything she was feeling, but none of it made much sense to her. She was still trying to come to terms with the decisions she had made back home. No matter what Remus said, Tonks knew this changed his feelings. Or maybe it didn't, but now she was aware of his real feelings at least.
"What? Oh. Pie. I don't know. I'm not very hungry." Tonks had eaten much since Friday night. "Do you think maybe we could just sit and you could hold me?"
