Severus continued observing Simon as he went about collecting payment. If he were to be honest with the other man, he would tell him that no, he hadn't included labour, but the way he looked and acted, something in Severus prompted him to lie as convincingly as if he were reciting articles from this morning's paper.
"Yes, everything has been accounted for." The shift in the room was almost palpable, but being unsure where Simon was going with it, Severus didn't once break his gaze on the man's back, almost digging in with the unvoiced question. He opted to take a different route in his answer, however.
"I can't say that I do. Should I be tasting anything?"
