Narcissa knew he would stop everything for her. That was the type of husband he was, and for that she was grateful. For all the cautioning she had received, and for all the worrying that he would actually take care of her and not just place her in a glass box for the world to see, Lucius was a very devoted husband, and she knew he loved her. There were sides of him that only she got to see, and this was one of them. It made her feel special, which made her love him all the more.
Briefly, she reached a hand up to brush her fingertips against his cheek after he kissed hers. Ever since she had found out the news from the Healer she had been worried about it, and all the tragic outcomes that could happen. Standing there now, looking at Lucius, she was struck with a sense of joy over the fact that she was about to tell him he was going to be a father. It was a moment only the two of them would share, which made it all the more special to her. She just hoped he would be happy. She was still scared, but for the time being she found her happiness was stronger.
"Yes, actually there is," she said, as a plan quickly formed in her mind. "I need you to check your calendar for me. I want us to host a dinner party here at the manor, and I need to make sure you're going to be available."
