While Wes couldn’t clearly read Kurt’s mind, he could, in fact see the faint twinge of worry that seemed to pass through Kurt’s eyes, and that was enough incentive to remind Wes to keep an eye on them. But as much as he’d have liked to push, he knew when to step back and just let things be. Before, it had been Blaine that needed the space. Now? Now it was Kurt.
So, smiling genially, he nodded slowly. “…If you’re sure. Just know – and I know I say this every time – that you can come and talk to me if ever you need to.” His smile faded just a bit and Wes leaned in more, to catch Kurt’s eyes. “Okay?”
