Blaine groaned internally. As much as he despised the prospect of spending any time alone with Kurt, he wasn't much for broadcasting his personal business in his place of work. "Hey Dani?" Once he got the girl's attention, he held up a hand to signal five minutes.
When he emerged from behind the counter, jacket and scarf in hand, he was a haggard picture of sleep deprivation and annoyance. "C'mon," he nodded towards the door. "I needed to get out of there for a minute, anyway."
Once they were outside, Blaine leaned against the brick wall outside of the Lima Bean. He pulled out the pack of cigarettes that had become a constant presence in his coat pocket over the past few weeks and began fidgeting with them. "So, what's up?" Kind of a loaded question, Blaine wasn't an idiot. He knew he owed Kurt more a word or two.. but that didn't mean he was willing to give him anything.
