i'm just going to redo this entire post instead of making a new one, so here it goes:
this is chan, my kim mingyu pb, who is a korean by way of toronto by way of new york city. he doesn't work right now as his parents would prefer he just focus on school, but he is an art studies major at hongik university who is in love with photography, video, and sound editing. he has a very (very very very) small following on youtube as 'the guy who makes those korean chill-hop/r&b mixes you can study to,' something he does for fun as it combines his love for editing with his taste in music.
his first impression always has him looking icy and overly formal, but actually, he is quite the opposite, especially once you get to know him. he is a loyal friend who appreciates witty banter and outings to the latest hot itaewon restaurant/cafe. he also really loves both korean and american baseball (his username is a reference to korean baseball team the sk wyverns), so if your character is the type to want to go to a sporting event sometime, chan's their man.
right now, he has a roommate in ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bosun and a friendship in dharma, but anything else you think he'd be good for is more or less open! (i'm also willing to adjust some of his details to make a line work for you.)
