hi, happy holidays! looking to round up some lines for this guy while i get ready to app. his name is theodore but he most often goes by theo or teddy, although he won't have any violent reaction to his full name. he's 23 and from boston originally. the circumstances around his birth are somewhat mysterious/suspicious like an episode of something on the id channel and he has yet to uncover the complete truth about how he came to be adopted by a political powerhouse of a family. basically he grew up expected to be heavily involved in that world but instead discovered a love for the sea early on and decided to pursue a maritime career. he went to mit, got a degree in mechanical & ocean engineering, and nowadays works as a deckhand on the han river while attending graduate school for naval architecture in order to learn how to build the boats he loves to be on. which leads me to his personality - he's that kid who was usually making something out of paperclips during class. very much someone who always needs to be working whether it's manual labor or exercising his brain. he's a perfectionist, expects a lot of himself, and can have a hard time relating emotionally to people despite caring for them more than he's able to express.
here are some connections i'd like to see filled: anyone from the east coast or near boston specifically who he might have known growing up, a roommate (he's only been in the area since march), a guy or girl for an awkward moment, fellow beach bums to reminisce with over the gone too fast warm months, someone who tutored him intensely in korean for six months online to bring him from intermediate to advanced before he arrived (some details on that if interested), business clients and/or people who might have taken touristy type fishing trips on the river, and whatever else we might be able to work out!
