hi, hi guys! this here is mo, she's 22 years old and was born and raised here in seoul. her big deal is swimming. she's been doing it since she was old enough to wear floaties and be thrown in the pool. she began competing at meets when she was seven and honestly had dreams of getting good enough to vie for a spot in the olympics. she swam with that dream in mind up until she graduated high school when she realized that, regardless of all the time and training she put into it, she didn't truly have what it takes to be an olympian, but the love and passion for swimming never left her. she has a degree in food and nutrition and ended up getting a cool gig at yongsan international school of seoul as the assistant to the assistant coach to the varsity girls swim team. last year, they ended up offering her the assistant coaching position and she snatched it up super fast! she's also been a lifeguard every summer since she was 15. as far as personality goes, she's very cool and relaxed, is very sociable and isn't afraid to speak her mind or speak up for others. she enjoys a good get together, she likes making friends, and she's into a lot of outdoor-type activities (but doesn't like getting dirty, go figure). she's always up for a game of billiards or taking your money in a game of poker. she throws darts, she wakeboards, and one of her dreams is to one day go scuba diving. basically, she is the furthest thing from a homebody. if she can be out, she's out, whether by herself or with friends or family. i have a basic start to her here if you want to check that out!
for lines, she has her brother ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) recordplayer so i don't really need family for her, but mo is in need of a roommate! i would love it if she had friends from her childhood, maybe other girls she met at swim camp when she was young. a friend (or more than one friend!) that loves the water as much as she does would also be cool. an ex or two (of either gender). some coworkers. friends that like going out on a whim. outdoorsy friends in general. potential love interests. whatever else you guys have, feel free to throw any and all ideas at me! thanks for reading ♡

hey guys! this here is sunkyu, usually goes by kyu, he's 25 and a born and raised seoul native. he has family in relay, being his younger sister that he's pretty overprotective of. he has been the owner of seoul seeker records since 2014, so yes, he's a small business owner! he didn't go to university because he wasn't really much for schooling. kyu dug music more than anything else in life and found his niche at the record shop, which really ended up working out well for him.
he knows basic conversational english, enough to get by, say if a tourist would come into the shop and ask for something, but that's about it. kyu's personality is very laid back and down to earth. he's pretty chill to a fault, and super patient with people. it takes a lot for him to get pissed off, unless he actually does lose his temper, then watch out because all hell breaks loose. if you wanna read the rest of his history and whatnot, you can do so here!
as far lines go, i'd love a roommate, friends who are native to seoul, maybe someone he'd gone to primary with even, people who love music (obviously), especially old school rap & hip-hop and r&b stuff since that's mostly what his store sells, someone he might've had a fling with and/or that one long-term ex (m or f), noraebang buddies, and just about anything anyone wants to brainstorm. he's here for it!
