James had been working on getting into the Marino family's good graces for too long, and was getting annoyed. His following Antoinette was coming up fruitless, so he finally bit the bullet and started in on Lucas Marino.
His history was interesting, from what James could find. He'd suddenly appeared in Boston, magically held in the bosom of the Marino family out of no where. James was more than intrigued. He felt that Lucas could be his in with the family.
So, as patiently as he could, he followed Lucas around. He kept his distance, plotting out Lucas' schedule and finding out what places he frequented and what his basic habits were. It seemed to be that Lucas kept his goings-on pretty secretive, but James was interested when Lucas made a trek to the Charles River Salon.
James laughed to himself, shaking his head and running a hand over his face. "What a fag." He found the idea of a Marino going into a salon to get his hair done hilarious, and sat outside, waiting to see what coif Lucas came out with. When a woman bolted from the salon and looked like she was going to heave the contents of her stomach on the pavement of the parking lot, and Lucas followed close after, James sat up in his car seat.
He watched them carefully, seeing the body language as something other than some random interaction. The woman looked both petrified and conflicted. Lucas seemed to be desperate to talk to this woman, and James grinned to himself, watching the conversation with rabid interest.
He sat back in his chair, laughing to himself yet again, but this time, a much deeper, more terrifying laugh. He could use this. "Interesting. Finally." He picked up a small notebook and scribbled some reminders. He'd get the name of the woman from the salon, and he'd follow Lucas a lot more often than he was before. James could tell this wasn't something that would end easily, and that Lucas would be seeing this woman again.
