WHO Faith, Lance, and their friends & family
WHAT A REAL WEDDING OMG!
WHEN Friday evening; post ceremony
WHERE Boston Harbor Hotel; ROOF
RATING TBD. Lets get crazy up in here.
NOTE pretty much their friends are invited, anyone they might work with, significant others of their friends, etc. unlikely that people from the Connelly or Marino families would be there...what with a plethora of off duty FBI folk running around. MASS THREAD AHOY!

Faith couldn't believe that she had actually been nervous today. She didn't remember a thing about her first wedding, other than burred images and the fact that she couldn't get Blue Moon out of her head for a full on week afterward. Then of course there were the tattoos to deal with, but somewhere along the line, she had realized just how in love she was with her husband. His impromptu proposal that was forever immortalized thanks to TiVo, and the more serious one that followed had led them to a real wedding.

She knew that she had driven Lisa and Antoinette completely batshit crazy, but at least she hadn't turned into a bridezilla or anything...right? She was just picky. It took all the effort she could muster not to show off the dress to Lance when she found it. No, just like any groom, he had to wait until she emerged from behind the church doors and clung to her brother's arm as she walked down the aisle. There are few people who could say they had a perfect wedding, but Faith liked to say they got it very, very right on their second try. This, she would absolutely remember. Every single detail, from the way Lance looked in his tux to the way she felt walking toward him.

Faith was not a crier, and she would be the first to punch someone in the arm for being in the same room when she cried, but today was an entirely different thing altogether. She hadn't been able to hold back her tears as soon as the minister began reading a passage from the Bible, and when Lance recited his vows? Forget about it. It was without a doubt the happiest day of her life, and she hadn't really realized that before. She had to steal the handkerchief from Declan's pocket before she could start in on her own vows, and by the time the minister pronounced them husband and wife (again), it would have been a shock to find a dry eye in the entire church.

The reception was to be held at the Boston Harbor Hotel, where the rooftop had been transformed with strings of twinkling lights, long buffet tables, a live jazz band and more flowers than one might find the gardens. Faith figured she only had a (second) wedding once, and they might as well go all out. With champagne flowing, good music wafting out into the warm evening, the party was in full swing, and would continue well into the night.

Before the ceremony Lance had been nervous beyond belief. He was of course not nervous that he was about to make a bad decision, in fact he was confident that this was the best decision he'd made in his life! He was nervous that he was going to say or do something that would mess up and ruin Faith and his perfect day.

The wait for her to come through those doors had been the longest wait in his life, but it was well worth it. As soon as those doors opened and he saw his beautiful angel a grin instantaneously appeared on his face, and it did not disappear the entire ceremony.

When she'd stated to tear up he'd given her hands a gentle squeeze; his own eyes also beginning to water slightly. He hated seeing her cry, but when she spoke with such passion he knew that those tears were that of happiness and love his heart swelled. He had no idea what he'd done to deserve such an amazing woman but he was incredibly grateful for her.

Looking up from his glass of champagne Lance realized that he'd still not stopped smiling, it was like his grin was permanently infused on his face. From where he sat, at the head table on the roof top of the Boston Harbor Hotel, he could see all his friends and family, enjoying themselves in celebration of their union. He turned to Faith, his wife, and leaned to press his lips softly to her cheek. They were now recognized in the eyes of god, their friends and family that they were one; two people committed to spending their lives making the other happy.

Slipping his hand into hers he continued to grin as he lent down to whisper in her ear, “Would you like to have our first dance, Mrs Aberforth?” Lance asked smoothly as he turned her hand over in his.

Were it anyone but herself and Lance, Faith probably would have taken part in snickering at the cheesiness of it all. Faith had never been particularly fond of going to weddings, and never even thought she'd have one. Then one drunken night in Atlantic City changed all of that, and here she was almost a year later, remarrying the man of, all cliche's aside, her dreams.

Faith felt almost like royalty sitting at the long table flocked by her husband and people she held closest to her heart. It was amazing, and she didn't even care that a couple of her guests were well past drunk by this point or that her mother seemed to be shamelessly flirting with every man without (and some with) another woman on his arm. Nothing could distract her tonight from the man she loved, not even her partially insane mother.

Leaning over into Lance when his lips pressed to her cheek, she smiled and bowed her head against his, her hand moving to squeeze his. Her fingers laced through his and she raised the two of their hands up to her lips, pressing a kiss to his knuckles. "I don't know..." She hummed against his ear, pressing a kiss just beneath his ear. "You think you can promise not to step on my feet?" She smirked, drawing back a little to rub her thumb over the spot her lipstick had made on his skin.
