Neal would explain all about the way he and Hook creeped through Kenny's office and the bedroom he shared with the missus, but really, it wasn't that informative in terms of things they could use to get the hell out of here - the Mayor was useless, basically, and the whole experience had merely been mind-numbing as opposed to helpful. Yes, he'd explain all of that later...when Emma wasn't beckoning him to her room.
Or tripping over her own two feet.
"You...Em," he went for her quickly, just in case, but she seemed to be better now. And not potentially face-planting on the floor. "You're alright?" Neal asked on a breathy exhale, a chuckle, as his arms went around her and he pulled her to him, locking his hands on the small of her back. "You are the cover stealer though. I'd wake up freezing to death, shivering, and you'd be there wrapped up in your own cocoon."
And considering he tended not to wear clothes when he was in bed with Emma, it had been pretty arctic tundra during the winter, to not have covers.
"I promise I'll explain more or whatever you want to know about this place, even though I haven't been here long either but..." Where was the bedroom? He need to dive onto a mattress, right stat now.
