Lydia nodded. He'd been sitting outside all this time? That couldn't be good. She couldn't even imagine her head hurting that badly. That wasn't quite true. She'd probably been hurting that badly after Peter attacked her on the football field. She just couldn't really remember because she'd been in the hospital. But she did know what it was like to have a regular headache, and it couldn't be anything like Sam was feeling now. Lydia was genuinely worried about him.
"Can I help you get back inside?" She offered. Her foster parents probably wouldn't approve, but she honestly did not care. They didn't know her. She hated that she had to live with other people. She was practically an adult. And she'd been through more lately than most had in a lifetime. She wasn't some dumb kid. Lydia was very, very smart, even if she hid that sometimes. She didn't see much reason to hide it here.
She offered Sam her hand, in case he needed help getting up. She didn't really think he'd make it in on his own right now, and he couldn't keep sitting here. That wasn't good at all. "You get these kind of headaches a lot?"
