WHO: Nora Gainesborough and Killian Jones WHEN: Saturday evening, just after nightfall WHERE: Killian's house WHAT: The Pirate and the Vampire. RATING: TBD STATUS: Closed | In Progress
Nora had awoken that evening feeling thoroughly dissatisfied with life. Why was she here, in this god-forsaken little hell-hole? What possible purpose could she serve by being here? It was typical - just when something interesting was happening at home, for the first time in centuries, she was somewhere else.
For a while, she'd wandered aimlessly around her house, considering going to bother or possibly fuck her brother for a while. That would only pass so much time, however, and she was craving something more, something new.
In a moment of inspiration, an idea came to her. The man - the one she'd spoken to on the computer. She'd said she'd find him and, so far, she hadn't lived up to that promise. She'd been distracted by other things but now... well, a pirate hunt might be just what she needed to distract her for a night.
Almost disappointingly, it took her hardly any time to find him. She'd hoped the hunt would last longer, be more exciting, but it seemed like the little town she'd found herself in didn't want to make anyone hard to find. There they all were, laid out in their little houses in neat rows, the windows ablaze and welcoming in the dark of the evening.
Well, now that she was here, she might as well make the most of it. She hadn't completely decided what she wanted to do with the man once she had him, but she was reasonably apt at being spontaneous. With a little huff, she lifted away from the ground, floated upwards until she was hovering outside the man's illuminated first floor window and peered inside, raising her hand to rest lightly against the glass as her wide, blue eyes scanned the scene inside the room. Gently, hypnotically, she let her fingernails nails tap against the glass one by one, signalling that she was there. All she needed was for the window to be opened, then she could obtain an invitation. It would be like taking candy from a baby - an attractive, rugged, dangerous baby.
